2023-24 School Year
Tuition for the 2023-24 school year (September to June) will be $7850 CAD for learners whose parent(s) can provide evidence of both Canadian citizenship and normal residency in BC. There are several ways tuition can be paid. Below is a table showing each method and the corresponding amounts:
Method 1: Single Lump Sum (on or before July 1, 2023)
If paying in a single lump sum, you will receive a discount of 5%, reducing tuition. If you have paid the $100 registration deposit, your lump sum payment will be $7357.50. If you have not yet paid the $100 registration deposit, your lump sum payment will be $7457.50.
Method 2: 12 Month Payment Plan (starting July 1, 2023)
Cheques
Post-dated cheques for the entire year (12 cheques – July 1 2023 to June 1 2024) are required before July 1, 2023. The total amount of tuition when paid over 12 months is $7850.00. If you have paid the $100 deposit, the amount of each cheque will be $645.83. If you have not paid the $100 deposit, the amount of each cheque will be $654.17.
Cheques can be mailed to the school (see contact page) or dropped off in our mailbox in the front foyer between the hours of 8:30 and 4:30 from Monday to Friday (the building is secured after 4:30). Please make cheques payable to “PSII” or “Pacific School of Innovation and Inquiry.”
Interac e-Transfers
Interac e-transfers can be sent by email to payments@learningstorm.org. Payments can be made as a lump sum (your bank night require you to do this in several separate transactions, depending on your Interac transfer limit) or in 12 month payments. Amounts for each payment schedule are the same as outlined above in the “cheques” section.
Sibling Enrollment Discount for 2023-24
In cases where siblings are concurrently enrolled, PSII offers a 15% discount on the second sibling’s tuition. Please see table below for amounts related to payment method.
Laptop Reimbursement Option
Tuition includes a school-provided laptop that the learner will own once it is received. Laptops are replaced every two years. If a learner provides their own laptop instead, they will be reimbursed $300 per year that they provide their own. Families will be asked before June 30 2023 if they would like to provide their own laptop. After that time, or if no response is given before the deadline, a laptop will be purchased by the school and no reimbursement will be offered. This reimbursement cannot be deducted directly from tuition payments. The reimbursement will come in October 2023, once we know the laptop meets the requirements of the school program.
